Full Membership

We welcome new members to our Society. The annual subscription is £40 which is payable by 31st July prior to the commencement of our lecture programme in October. If you would like to become a member please click for an application form. This form should be posted to: Membership Secretary, 5 Cambridge Way, Minchinhampton GL6 9DE

Full membership entitles you to:

  • Attend 10 lectures each year
  • Attend our Special Interest Day, Day Visits, Garden Visits and visits to other UK and overseas locations as part of our cultural programme. Extra costs are incurred by taking part in these activities
  • Volunteering opportunities in local conservation and preservation projects
  • A quarterly glossy magazine from The Arts Society
  • Information on current and forthcoming cultural and artistic events.

Annual Subscription and Renewals

The annual subscription to the Society of £40 must be paid for by 31st July, prior to the start of the lecture programme in October. You may start or renew your membership subscription by cheque, standing order or internet transfer, and must complete and return the attached form to The Treasurer, Grafton Heights, Common Road, Malmesbury SN16 0HN.

If you wish to pay by standing order please print the standing order instruction form, complete it and hand it to your bank before 31st July.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

On 25 May 2018 the new GDPR will come into operation. This is the first major review of data protection laws for 20 years and will seriously impact how many organisations communicate with their audiences. The legislation has primarily been introduced to protect the privacy of individuals whilst harmonising legislation across the EU member states.

The details of Members of The Arts Society Malmesbury will be processed fairly and lawfully in order to satisfy the agreement entered with you on your admittance to membership. This will ensure that you receive the latest news and information about all upcoming events.

Members’ details will be passed to The Arts Society to enable inclusion on the mailing of the quarterly magazine and other communications including information about any upcoming national events or items of legitimate interest.

Members’ details may be passed to “The Arts Society Area”, or other affiliated societies, for the purposes of disseminating relevant information of legitimate interest.

Your details will be kept safely and securely and you have the ability to opt out of our communications at any time.
