In May 2011 it was decided that there was a need for a new Nadfas Society for Malmesbury and the surrounding villages because the waiting lists for the neighbouring societies were very long and people were waiting for up to four years to join.
A Steering Committee was put together and as a result of the huge support of Angela Payne, a very experienced Nadfas volunteer in charge of new societies, we have been able to leap over many hurdles and we had a very successful Inaugural
Meeting on 8th November 2011 when the CONSTITUTION was approved
Pictures of the first meeting can be seen here
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month from October to July in Crudwell village hall. The lecture is at 2 p.m. followed by tea and squash and biscuits for any young mums or grannies who wish to collect their children from school and bring them back.
There is a good car park but we must park with care to use all the available space efficiently. In winter parking on the grass may be restricted so we will have to be considerate and skilful!
Malmesbury Decorative and Fine Arts Society (MDFAS) is a member society of NADFAS www.nadfas.org.uk. Members will receive the Nadfas Review which will be sent direct to your homes four times a year
